Maria embraces a  variety of approaches

 including Laban and somatic practice 

 to create physical language and expression with

'mesmerising power'.

She has trained dancers, actors, opera singers, musicians and teaches technique classes regularly.  As  founder and former director of the Contemporary Dance Programme at Birkbeck, University of London, she developed the pioneering part-time Higher Education Certificate awards, the  Foundation degree   and BA (Hons) degree
